General Terms and Conditions
1. AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE
1.1. This Student Enrollment Agreement (“Agreement”) constitutes a binding contractual agreement between J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. (“JADE,” “Institute,” or “Course Provider”) and the individual enrolling in its educational programs (“Student”).
1.2. By signing this Agreement, completing the registration process, or electronically accepting these terms, the Student acknowledges having reviewed, understood, and agreed to the applicable course description, fees, payment obligations, cancellation policies, access limitations, and institutional rules.
1.3. This Agreement includes the course-specific enrollment confirmation, applicable payment plan agreement, and any expressly incorporated schedules or additional policies.
1.4. The Student acknowledges that enrollment constitutes a financial commitment to the selected course and that all contractual payment obligations must be fulfilled, subject to applicable mandatory legal rights.
1.5. Any amendments or exceptions to these terms must be confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of JADE.

2. COURSE FEES AND FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
2.1. The Student agrees to pay the full tuition and applicable taxes specified in the enrollment confirmation.
2.2. All course fees are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly provided in this Agreement or required by applicable law.
2.3. Registration in a course constitutes a financial commitment to pay the agreed tuition, regardless of attendance, examination results, or voluntary discontinuation, subject to applicable cancellation and refund rights.
2.4. Any promotional offer, discount, scholarship, or individualized pricing arrangement must be expressly confirmed in writing by JADE.
2.5. Promotional discounts cannot be combined unless specifically authorized by JADE.
2.6. Course fees may be revised for future registrations. Such revisions will not automatically affect students who have already enrolled at an agreed price.
2.7. Students are responsible for any applicable taxes and properly disclosed administrative or transaction charges.

3. PAYMENT PLAN AGREEMENT, LATE PAYMENT CHARGES, AND DEFAULT
3.1. Binding Payment Plan Commitment
Students who voluntarily opt for a payment plan acknowledge that the payment plan is a financial accommodation offered by JADE and does not reduce or eliminate the total tuition obligation.
By accepting a payment plan, the Student agrees to pay the entire outstanding course fee, including applicable taxes and agreed administrative charges, in accordance with the installment schedule.
3.2. Mandatory Adherence to Payment Schedule
The Student must strictly adhere to the agreed installment amounts and due dates.
Any request to modify or defer an installment must receive prior written approval from JADE. An informal request or verbal communication does not constitute an approved modification.
3.3. Late Payment Charges
In the event of a missed, delayed, or incomplete installment payment, JADE reserves the right, where legally permissible and expressly agreed, to impose a late payment charge equivalent to:
CAD $100 plus applicable taxes OR 10% of the overdue installment amount, whichever is higher, per overdue installment.
The proposed charge shall apply only to the extent legally enforceable. Any applicable taxes shall be determined according to the legal characterization of the charge.
3.4. No Unilateral Cancellation After Course Commencement
Once the course has commenced, the Student cannot unilaterally cancel or terminate the agreed payment plan merely because they decide to discontinue attending, participating in, or accessing the course.
The following circumstances do not, by themselves, release the Student from outstanding contractual payment obligations:
Voluntary withdrawal or nonattendance.
Failure to pass an examination.
Failure to obtain an examination seat.
Changes in personal, professional, or financial circumstances.
Relocation or scheduling conflicts.
Failure to utilize available course resources.
A decision to pursue another educational institution or program.
This provision remains subject to any cancellation, refund, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
3.5. Outstanding Balance and Payment Default
Failure to make an installment payment by its agreed due date constitutes a payment default.
JADE may issue written notice specifying the outstanding amount and any applicable opportunity to remedy the default.
If the default remains unresolved, JADE may, to the extent legally permissible:
Suspend access to future course sessions, online learning platforms, examinations, or clinical laboratory facilities.
Withdraw the installment payment accommodation.
Demand payment of amounts lawfully due under the Agreement.
Refer the outstanding balance to an authorized collection agency.
Pursue appropriate legal recovery procedures.
3.6. Continuing Financial Responsibility
Suspension of course access or voluntary nonattendance does not automatically extinguish amounts lawfully owing under the Agreement.
3.7. Payment Plan Acknowledgment
By selecting a payment plan, the Student confirms that they understand the full financial commitment, payment schedule, consequences of default, and applicable late payment charges.

4.3. Where a Student voluntarily withdraws seven days or fewer before the scheduled course start date, JADE may retain or charge up to 100% of the agreed course fee.
4.4. Once a course has commenced, tuition is generally non-refundable, including where the Student voluntarily discontinues participation.
4.5. Customized courses, individual sessions, on-demand services, limited-capacity programs, and specially arranged educational services may be subject to specific cancellation conditions disclosed before enrollment.
4.6. Reservation fees are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, except where otherwise required by law. Reservation amounts applied toward tuition will be accounted for in determining any balance or refund.
4.7. Approved transfers or course credits are discretionary accommodations and do not create an automatic entitlement to additional transfers or extensions.
4.8. Where JADE cancels a course, the Student may be offered an appropriate replacement or refund for affected services, consistent with applicable legal requirements.
4.9. Any statutory cancellation or refund entitlement takes precedence over conflicting provisions of this Agreement.

8.7. JADE will use reasonable efforts to deliver the contracted instructional components, including alternative scheduling or approved prerecorded demonstrations where appropriate.
8.8. Students seeking course extensions are encouraged to submit requests four to six weeks before their scheduled course completion date.
